The show at the Courtenay Bridge took place on thanks giving day. It was quite but I still had a few friends come by later on which was cool. It was nice to be back in my hometown to hang out and perform again. I always wanted to get involved with an event there at the Bridge, so it was cool to finally have the opportunity. After my set I talked to the manager about becoming a featured artist there, and they said that it was a possibility. Finally I left a CD and let her know I would be contacting them in a few weeks.
Once I got back to Vic I was invited to perform unexpectedly at Lucky’s Pub for this political get together called “Shitharperdid Serious Issues Live in Victoria”. Mike Sheehan was one of the organizers for the event, and asked if I could round up as many conscious emcee’s as possible, to come freestyle
on some serious issues. So I made a few calls and managed to round up 5 different artists from Vic; AutoKrat, Danimal, Bobby Arson, Nostic and StevieG. The result was dope! Everyone came through well in the mic and the crowd loved it! Mike started things off by first asking the crowd several different topics that we should speak on during the freestyle cypher, then we tried our best to rhyme about them when our time came up. It was probably one of the funnest events I have ever performed at. The university crowd is def where i need to get involved in more.
The next day I went to Nanaimo for an interview with CHLY radio. I showed up about 15 mins late but it was ok, I walked right in and they were happy to greet me. Next thing you know I was on air and talking about
the tour so far, the new CD and the show at Solstice on Nov. 1st. After the interview and paying a few tracks off my CD I kicked a short freestyle to some beatboxing.

After words I went down to the water front for a few hrs. It was really nice with all the passing scenery and all. Later I realized the open mic at the Cornerlounge was on a different night so I hopped in my car and drove back to Vic.
The last event of the tour was the grand finale at Solstice Cafe. It started off by driving to the ferry to pick up Emcee Four from the Swartz Bay ferry. We had never met in person but we had put together three different collab songs over the internet, so it was cool to finally meet. It was a beautiful sunny day and it started everything off on a nice note. Next thing we had to do is pick up the PA system at L&M. First, we practiced our set till we felt we had it down then later after picking up the system we arrived at Solstice around 6:30pm. Everything was hooked up and ready for sound check by 7:30pm. Benny was there by 8pm and started the night with his set, he mixed a variety of crunk, underground and mainstream hip-hop to get the party started. At 9pm AutoKrat started the rappin, and did a great job with young Vlad The Prince. StevieG was next and ripped it with his crazy flows and bumpin beats, then Nostic was up at 10:30pm with his diversity of sounds including: beat-boxing, conscious lyrics and Spanish dance vibes. I ended up having to cut his set short because of a mix up in the time schedule that the organizer had told me before hand. Me and Four still had a great set and managed to bring everything together well in the end. We performed 3 collabs and one solo track that I spit a short free on. Then came my solo set with a brand new song called “Just Remember”, beat thanks to Silas Crowe . We had a nice crowd of about 30 people or so who where mostly all friends and people I knew. They all seemed to really enjoy themselves and a few came up after to thank us for the show. The staff of Solstice were great as well, they helped to wrap things up and let us do an encore after at the end of the night. Thank you to the One, who is always with me and helps everything to work out in the end.
