I feel it is time I start to share more than just my music with everyone. Along the path of my life so far I have learned much of important knowledge but not the usual kind you will learn in any classroom. Recently I have written a couple of essays in my philosophy class that I will share with you. Also check out my youtube page : Smokytalks http://www.youtube.com/smokytalks
Here are some steps I have compiled to help us awaken into the new earth of enlightened consciousness and come out of the illusion of the social matrix devised to trap us.
1. The first step in the puzzle is to realize what you ARE! An eternal spirit temporarily encased in a physical body along with your MIND (The mind being separate from the SOUL.) Learning to control and understand your mind then is the key principle before anything else.
2. The next step to escaping the matrix is this: Build a curiosity for God. Yearn to know what this creative force is that created everything. Keep an open mind and heart, search and find your own path. Each spiritual journey is unique to the individual and the Great Spirit speaks to people in many different ways.
Don’t get misled by the word God having a Christian affiliation, you can call it Buddha, Allah, Brahma, Jesus or Guru Nanak. We are all from the same ocean of love.
This connection then becomes your grounding and safety from ominous forces. This friend is where you can recharge and focus your attention on during meditation or any time you need inner peace.
Once you are connected within then you can reference knowledge at your intuitive level and trust you are guided to the truth. Your SOUL will always know what’s best in any situation.
3. The next step to escaping the Matrix is: Your HEALTH! Without it you can never enjoy anything this world has to offer. This includes doing your best to eat as much organic as you can afford, Filtering your tap water before you drink it, try not to use a microwave all the time to warm food, drink less cow milk, and drink lots of tea
Also EXERCISE ! Is sooo important, for your self-esteem, your confidence, helping all your organs and blood to start working in unity and become strong. Go outside and breath lots of fresh air, turn off the wireless devices when you don’t need them on; including cell phone, home wireless routers or other devices. Try to use natural cleaners inside your house.. Stay away from harsh chemicals and things that are toxic.
If you become Ill don’t always rely on western medicine, there are plenty of alternatives out there you can go to first including Naturopathic, Ayurveda, Chinese traditional and so on.. Open your mind to nature and the ocean, go outside and feed your thoughts healthy imagery, because your thoughts are directly connected to your body; so it is just as important to keep a healthy and clear mind. Practices like yoga and daily meditation can greatly help with this.
4. The next step to escaping the Matrix is this: Constantly remind yourself about all the cool things going on, that are not part of the televised illusion. TV and movies aren’t real. Break your mind away and look into the beauty of Nature, Outdoor sports, NDE’s, OBE’s, shaman teachings, Yoga, Chakra knowledge, Astrology, spiritual phenomenon’s, Ghosts, Astral beings, visions, Divine revelations and anything else that will spark your curiosity if the unknown. Don’t get lost in the mundane, morbid views that western science wants to trap you in. NO! We don’t know all the answers and NO! We never will! The mystery and magic shall always remain
5. The next step to escaping the Matrix is.. LOVE!!! This means love everyone, all the animals, all the people and all the entire cosmos of our divine creator. Don’t judge others, slander others or backbite. All this negativity only lowers your spiritual vibe and creates more harm to yourself then the one you may be focused on. Once you love everything unconditionally, you are free from anyone bothering you; because of how they look or whatever it may be. There is no greater lesson on earth then this: LOVE EVERYTHING!
6. Lately I have been posting a series of steps on how to awaken your inner potential and at the same time escape the mental matrix set to keep you blind. Eventually I will compile them all for anyone who missed any todays step is this: Energy! The universe is made of it. The atom itself is energy and there are vibrations and frequencies everywhere. Light is a frequency, sound is frequency and even an abject carries an electromagnetic frequency in which holds the atoms in shape. This is being researched and learned more about lately with new studies in string theory and quantum physics. We start to learn there in no SPACE or division. Like the ancients have always said “It is all ONE” and we are part of this universe the same as the stars and infinite beings in all directions; seen and unseen. So keep learning friends and help others around you awaken to the TRUTH! Out of the ignorance and lies. Namaste\
7. Today’s step to escaping the matrix is the spiritual realms also known as planes.. There are many with different names and characteristics. As you go up each level the density becomes less and the pure spirit takes over. With us currently in the material plane (Pind); the level above is the Astral plane. This is practically a scientific fact now and there is much evidence proving that such a realm exists. Since it plays such a huge role in our reality we should do everything we can to learn more about it before we die and are there clueless to where we are.. The Autobiography of a yogi explains about it in great detail.
(Dale) today I’ll say that it’s a good idea for people to become accustomed to realizing their astral bodies existence while they’re awake. It’s the part of us that desires, but it’s also hot/cold, sympathy/antipathy, attraction/repulsion, light/ dark. The astral body needs to be governed by a healthy ego, the part of us responsible for judgments. Of course projecting astrally brings about a completely different consciousness in a completely different world but it’s most important that we realize it’s with us at all times. In my opinion virtues shouldn’t be considered. It’s our vices that deserve the most attention and the astral body is the seat of those vices. Restrain the animal passions and nourish the higher aspirations; the emotions are purified by suffering.
Here are some essays I wrote in my College Philosophy class you might find use from. Cheers
What is God and how can we know more about him?
God cannot be completely known by one man alone. The universe as we know it is infinite and expanding. With humans being a tiny speck among billions of stars, how can we begin to grasp anything about our creator? Well there are several ways we can learn about God; self-introspection, how the universe forms, and the teaching of the saints.
Reality as we know it has many dimensions with infinite levels of vibration and energy. Science is now just starting to reveal the many inner secrets that saints and yogis have been speaking about for thousands of years. Through this new understanding of the universe around us we can start to see the formulas and intelligence behind how things take shape. If we look closely we can see that there are patterns and mathematics in the way life is created. If we understand that there is some great organizer and spin as Nassim Haramein calls it, then we can start to understand how the shear brilliance of our creator (God) might work.
For a saint or spiritual master they tell us to go inside and find God for yourself through a process of self-introspection (meditation as most know it). The only thing dividing you from God is your own mind; this is an important lesson that is repeated by various spiritual teachers around the globe. In order to experience this bliss we must first learn some kind of practice or discipline that can enable us to go beyond the wall of reason; our mind forms throughout our lives. There is a hidden entrance to the entire universe in each one of us and through meditation we can experience this wonderful connection. When it comes to meditation it is all about single pointed attention; the ability to focus on one point for long enough that your mind becomes quiet and your journey of self-introspection can begin. The masters say that prayer is speaking to God, and meditation is when you listen to the subtle voice that usually remains masked by the chatter of thought. If we are to reach this space of silence, then we have the chance to become in-tune with the spirit of the universe (God). This inner experience varies for people due to the fact that everyone is different. This means that not everyone can sit for hours at a time, and some people might experience this inner bliss in other ways such as: sex, sports, family or nature. There are some though, that seem to be born with an innate ability to silently sit, even at a young age. They come to the earth knowing of the connection within and its supreme importance. The point either way is to re-connect with this life force that contains all and happiness and love. All we need to do is change the direction of our attention from outside to in; where God resides.
There are also many ways to know about God from our outer environments as well. If we look at nature for example, we can see patterns and certain formulas of mathematics. Further, we can learn how cells divide and life is created through geometry and science. In the last ten years we have successfully figured out how to map the entire human genome. We can see through this formula that there is some sort of intelligence behind the equation. There is another particular sequence of importance called the golden mean (closely related to the Fibonacci sequence). The golden mean is a process of numbers that work out to equal the same fraction for infinity. This formula can be found in everything from sea shells, to rabbit offspring, and giant galaxies that spiral out like a fern in the forest. Some artists have actually managed to incorporate this into their architecture and music; knowing it holds the sacred knowledge of harmony or God.
When we hear the word God most of us immediately think of a church or a temple and this brings us to the last section: understanding God through what the others teach. For as long as we know teachers and prophets have been coming to this earth from various paths, teaching his fellow man about God. Then, once the prophet or saint passes away this is when a religion is formed. The main message is usually the same it’s only the wording that changes. Most teachers and prophets usually explain that there is an afterlife, and our chances of going to either heaven or hell depend on our actions or karma. Out here in western society we mainly know and hear of only Christian views on God, but this is very bias and it is only one path out of hundreds with equally as much importance. We shouldn’t base our views on God entirely on one concept that suites us best then completely disregard all others as false. If we look at this like science or any other problem; we should be researching all possible findings then make some kind of conclusion after we have looked over all our findings, and the result can be the basis or foundation we can work with for the rest of our life.
So we see now how many different avenues and teachings we have to research and look through in order to obtain some better understanding of God. But even if we do learn everything the world has to teach us, we are still limited to our perceptions as a human being. We think in terms of our limited language and senses which are small in comparison to the rest of the universe around us. In conclusion I have learned much about God in my life but the single most important lesson I’ve learned is this: The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. -Socrates
How much money would you be willing to spend in order to live in a beautiful home with lots of windows, away from town and next to the ocean? Now, what would you give to have a similar environment when it comes to the mind? There is nothing more important than achieving mental clarity because you can’t enjoy anything to its fullest if your thoughts are always taking you away to other worries or worldly chatter.
The nature of the mind is a complex issue; many teachers and famous psychologists have tried to explain this question in various ways. During my own research in life I have learned enough to form a good foundation on how it works and its various habits. The first and most important lesson: is that we are not essentially the mind. I know this because I can observe my own thoughts and consciously choose to believe/follow them or not. Dr. Wayne Dyer explains: the thought stream is like those bars of information we see scroll across the bottom of the screen on various news channels. We can sit back and pick which thoughts are useful as well as leave those that are not. This explains the concept of how we; meaning (soul or consciousness) have the ability to control our thoughts and through practice achieve mental clarity. I have direct experience myself with this. As a teenager I was very angry and did not did not have inner peace or clarity at all. My mind would constantly judge others and feed me negative streams of thought all day long. But after several years of observation and inner discipline/meditation, I can now say that I have achieved this wonderful state; working in unison with my mind as a friend, instead of an enemy. This is a key lesson in life; we need to befriend our mind so it helps us instead of making life more difficult. Once we become in harmony with it; there are many ways we can utilize it to its fullest potential in order to help us along our journey.
The power of visualization is a great boon, and we can accomplish amazing feats once we learn how to take advantage of this special gift that all of us are born with. I once read somewhere how many athletes such as Olympic skiers for example; often go through every move of the coarse visually in thought beforehand; knowing this way exactly what to do so well, that the body merely needs to follow along with the precise mental vision. Mind over matter like the saying goes in order to achieve perfection in any form. The same technique can be used for many different tasks in life such as: achieving your dreams, a new career path, learning a new instrument or finding the love of your life. It is also said that the power of the subconscious mind is limitless, and just like the movie we can accomplish anything once we believe strongly enough that we can. The trick is to first rewire your thought process; out of your old concepts into a new and improved you! For, you cannot experience a new reality until it crosses your mind as a possibility first. We can also learn to improve our memory and ability to focus using certain training or mental techniques. With so much clutter nowadays it’s easy to get caught up in thinking about things that have no real benefit to us, but if we organize our thoughts and instead think only about our dreams and aspirations; we can constantly create new paths and possibilities for ourselves. The greatest achievement one can make in life is inner peace.
Clarity of mind is not an easy task; it takes years of reworking and discipline in order to gain this. Once you have achieved it though, life becomes so much more enjoyable and fulfilling due to the clarity and freedom from all the needless chatter. The great teachers of our past explain how the true nature of our mind is lucid; it’s only because of the years of worldly impressions that we have lost this natural stillness within. If we wish to come back to this inner peace, there are many various ways to do so. The most effective way to obtain mental clarity is meditation. By taking time out of your day to sit and relax until your thoughts become quite you can begin to experience the bliss and joy that lies behind the constant clutter. And with practice long enough you may be able to stay in this state of inner peace all the time no matter where you are or what you’re doing. Speaking from my own experience and practice; I have now enjoyed the benefits of meditation for close to ten years or so. I know personally that it can have a huge positive effect not only on achieving inner clarity but also on your health and general attitude/outlook on everything in life.
To conclude I will share a metaphor, I often enjoy telling people when we speak about the mind. If you have a giant machine in a factory that is constantly running and producing results, it needs to once in a while cool down and rest in order to continue to run at its maximum. This can be related to our mind in the same way.
Have you ever had the strange sense that maybe this physical universe is not the real reality? What if all we have come to know and perceive was really an illusion, and the true reality was far more beautiful and radiant. The question then is what would you be willing to give up in order to reach this? It can become a sensitive issue when the only evidence we have is other people’s experiences; unless of course you have had a NDE or other spiritual vision and have seen it for yourself. Many religions, scripture’s and philosophers speak of these nether regions and they explain that it is more complex than just one place everyone goes at the time of death. There are actually many different spiritual plains and this is what I will be explaining about in this essay.
The first plain which is the most widely known is called the astral; “It is the world of the planetary spheres, crossed by the soul in its astral body on the way to being born and after death, and generally said to be populated by angels, spirits or other immaterial beings.” –Wikipedia. This astral world is where most souls go when they take part in a psychedelic journey; taking drugs such as ayahuasca or lsd. They can also experience the astral during an NDE (near death experience). There are even some people who practice a method of travelling this elusive realm using a technique called astral projection. During this intense discipline, people explain they can travel with their astral body (OBE) to different areas and plains then come back into their physical body again later. In his book Autobiography of a Yogi, Yogananda states that “nearly all individuals enter the astral planes after death. This is where they work out the seeds of past karma through astral incarnations, or (if their karma requires) they return to earthly incarnations for further refinement.” Astral basically means shining, and this is exactly what people describe when they see it; everything has its own radiance and is laminated without the need of an external source. Though philosophers such as Plato, Socrates and many others have spoken about this realm, the majority of people do not take it into consideration; because it cannot be directly perceived through our normal sense organs. It is similar to trying to explain the beauty of a sunset to a blind man; how will you put into words such an amazing experience and even if you do, there is no way for this man to grasp what you have seen.
The next plain that is supposed to come after the astral is called the causal realm. “The causal plane is the world of light and blessedness, the highest of heavenly regions, extolled in the scriptures of all faiths. It is the foundation of existence, the source of visions, the point of conception, the apex of creation. The causal plane is the abode of Lord Siva and His entourage of Mahadevas and other highly evolved souls who exist in their own self-effulgent form–radiant bodies of centillions of quantum light particles.” –Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. As we can see it is described as a realm more beautiful than the previous and continuing on into the realm above it is like a mirror within a mirror; each a result or effect from the other. The author believes that if western science would start to look upon some of this knowledge as important and relevant to our life on this earth, then we could co-inside with these other realties and study how this can become useful for our lives.
We know now that reality can be measured on many different frequencies, from light waves to sound and radio. From the author’s own experience he understands the different energy and vibrations; each having different emotional effect or influence upon the others. Sound itself is the reaction of air particles hitting each other in a wave motion until they hit your ear drum. This then is an example of how we experience energy and how it interacts through this physical plain. The result of this knowledge leads to the conclusion the entire creation maybe various frequencies and energy; reacting through not only the physical universe but also the spiritual plains. From the densest in nature into lighter more fine spiritual realms. Finally there is one more fundamental ingredient to the mix that is the Shabda; a current that vibrates through them all, giving love and nurture to all living creatures (“referred to as the Audible Life Stream, Inner Sound, Sound Current or Word in English.”)-Wikipedia. This life force can be connected to by the grace of a Guru; he will show you the way as well as teach you the methods to listen with your inner ear.
As we can now see there is much more to our reality then we might have first expected. There is much more to be covered and talk about, but to be brief this is a short rundown to spark ones curiosity. The author wishes the best to any reader, and may you get closer to fully grasping the hidden magic to creation; an infinite intelligence and structure to such a vast canvas of beauty and life. Never stop learning and always be open to more, no one will ever fully know all the answers and that is the cool part.
